I was born in Montreal, Quebec and have lived in five Canadian cities but Vancouver is home.

As a visual artist I sample a variety of disciplines to amass information for my work that is about both the physicality and subtleties of ‘being’ in geographical place. My practice consists of two media interpretations in which I collect and mound together form and material in fleeting references to my memory and experience of landscape.

My background in the study of architecture, design and craft and the materials inherent to these disciplines have fused into a distinct visual language that continually seeks to dissect inhabited landscape as both space and place.
